Greetings Race Fans!

Rural/Metro Ambulance is proud to be providing EMS services at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway again this year.  Rural/Metro has provided emergency medical care to both participants and spectators for over 25 years.  We are looking forward to a racing season filled with IRL, NASCAR, and MotoGP racing! 

We are seeking EMTs and Paramedics who are interested in being part of the EMS team at the home of the “Greatest Spectacle in Racing”. 

How do you join the team? 

         (Passport may be substituted for all ID listed above)

Hiring / Orientation Sessions – All new and returning seasonal employees must attend one of these sessions.  Year-round Rural/Metro employees may elect to attend for in-service training, but are not required to do so.

Safety Training for Track Surface and Pit Personnel – Personnel wishing to work on the track surface ambulances or in the pits must contact Larry Christian.  There are limited openings for the track surface and pits.  Selection will be based upon experience and the candidate’s availability to work.

Scheduling – At the orientation session, you will be given the opportunity to turn in your available days.  Please bring your calendar with you.  When submitting availability you may make special requests, such as:  a specific partner, a specific location, or performing a specific job.  We try to accommodate requests whenever possible.

Directions to Rural/Metro HQ – Exit I-65 at Keystone Ave (exit 107).  Turn south on Keystone.  Proceed to National Avenue.  Turn west on National.  Proceed to Developers Road.  Turn north on Developers.  R/M is located in the last building on the left.
